One in three Americans over age 65 spends more than a third of their income on housing, leaving hardly enough for other necessities. The rising costs of rent and healthcare outweigh the resources currently available to support our growing aging population. As one of the leading local providers of affordable housing for lower-earning seniors, Fellowship Square owns 670 housing units (240 of them jointly), serving over 850 older adults. Each of these apartment communities includes an on-site Service Coordinator who empowers residents to become as self-sufficient as possible by accessing a full range of support services and maintaining an active, wellness-centered lifestyle. More than 250 volunteers and community partners engage residents with meals, social activities, educational programming, entertainment, and more, while a gift fund helps cover emergency expenses. Your support helps seniors age in place with dignity, independence, and fulfillment.
