Since 2003, Spur Local – formerly the Catalogue for Philanthropy – has raised millions of dollars for small nonprofits and trained thousands of nonprofit professionals. Our experience allows us to truly customize our consulting offerings to the needs of your organization and its growth.
Because we understand that small nonprofits operate nimbly, our consulting services are created specifically to be accessible for community-based organizations with a range of budgets. From providing coaching and guidance to more hands-on engagement, we prioritize a collaborative and partner-driven process, knowing that each nonprofit – and, therefore, each consulting project – has its unique challenges and opportunities. The Spur Local team also uses an action-oriented approach to ensure that you can implement the changes that fit your organization through our work.
Currently, Spur Local offers services in three consulting lines:
- Strategic Planning or Goal Setting: Ensure that clear goals are set for your organizations and that your board and staff are fully engaged in a new strategic direction for your nonprofit.
- Board Engagement: Actively engage and diversify your board by developing plans for your board structure, onboarding, and continued participation.
- Staff Engagement: Strengthen your staff engagement, build a team culture, and increase your organization’s efficiency through new or revised policies, practices, and structure.
