As the region's leader in community mobilization, Volunteer Fairfax offers opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities while examining the "why" and "how" of volunteering. From hosting annual service weekends to providing meaningful, short-term service opportunities, Volunteer Fairfax connects thousands of volunteers annually with more than 650 nonprofits. They are trained to readily deploy volunteer corps in urgent situations as a regional leader in emergency response. Through their Nonprofit Volunteer Management Training program, they also increase the capacity of their nonprofit partners to best manage these supporters.
