  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Our most needed volunteer role is for mentors in our Academic Mentoring Program (AMP). The requirement is for at least one school year, with a weekly commitment of 2 hours and an additional monthly activity outside of the AMP with their student.
    Volunteers are also needed as college coaches, writing coaches and math tutors in the AMP. This usually requires attending the program at least twice monthly.
    We also use volunteers for one day events: College Fair, Career Night, End of Year Celebration and College Exploration Day.
  • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; families with children; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams
  • Hours Needed: business hours during the week; evenings during the week
