The National Philharmonic engages, inspires, and unites diverse communities across the region through musical performances and innovative education programs for people of all ages. Each year, 16,000 individuals attend the Philharmonic’s outstanding orchestral and choral concerts at its home venue, the world-class Music Center at Strathmore. Student engagement begins with hands-on music instruction for all second graders in Montgomery County Public Schools, and continues through middle and high school with opportunities to perform in youth ensembles and master classes, summer string and choral institutes, and free admission to all Strathmore performances. Lesson Bank (a new program) provides free private lessons to students who can no longer benefit from music instruction at school. Adult audiences can subscribe to affordable daytime or evening performances, attend free pre-concert lectures, and observe master classes with guest artists. Your support brings the joy and beauty of music to thousands.
