  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Mentors who are matched with DCFYI teens
    Host families have a teen spend a series of weekend visits with them and help the teen meet other people to help find an adoptive family
    Groups to organize a weekend program event, where DCFYI teens and adults begin to get to know each other
    Board committees: program, board development, fundraising, communications
    Committee for our annual fall Establishing Roots fundraising event
  • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams
  • Hours Needed: daytime on the weekend
