As girls reach adolescence, many encounter social structures that don't accept them for who they are. In the world GOTR NOVA envisions, every girl is free to boldly pursue her dreams wholly as herself — in body, brain, heart, and spirit. Each year, more than 3,600 participants in grades 3–8 develop the confidence they need to activate their potential. In schools, recreation centers, and more, they build their physical endurance (regardless of their athletic ability or fitness level) while learning about themselves, cultivating empathy, strengthening connections, and consciously addressing harmful habits. Hundreds of trained volunteer coaches lead participants through an experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running with important life skills like team building, boundary setting, and developing a support system, culminating in a transformational and non-competitive 5K event. The result: participants who trust themselves enough to say, "I can do anything."
