  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Edu-Futuro is proud to be supported by talented and dedicated volunteers and interns. If you are interested in volunteering as a mentor or one-time volunteer, please send an email inquiry volunteer@edu-futuro.org along with your resume. You will be added to our volunteer bank and will be contacted regarding current and future volunteer opportunities. All volunteers must submit a resume and undergo an interview and background check.

    At this time, we are looking for volunteers to serve as mentors or one-time volunteers for our Emerging Leaders Program. Mentors work with a group of high school students "crews" to help enhance their leadership skills. This program runs 3 times a year (fall, spring, and summer). Mentors come onsite one or two times.

    Essay judge for our students' essay competition for a chance to win a $1,000 or $500 scholarship: You will have a chance to review 3 essays approx. and grade them with a rubric we provide and give them feedback.   • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; individual/college; individual/high school; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams
