General Information
- Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Skating instructors – must be able to skate at medium or advanced level and willing to learn how to teach skating to children. Classes are held on Saturdays from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
General Volunteers – assist in the skate shop on Saturdays from 12:00 – 1:30pm. Will be working with certified staff, so you do not need food service certification or skating skills.
General office volunteers – available during week day hours to assist with light office work and answering phones. Could include some writing, internet research or database projects depending on skill level and availability.
MS Certified Professionals – assist with network, server and workstation updating and problem solving.
Skilled video editors – assist with editing skating program videos into short clips appropriate for posting on the web.
Graphic Designers – assist with design of brochures and lobby display materials. - Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams; individual/high school; Holiday
