Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Britepaths depends greatly on volunteers to help administer our programs and engage the community. Having the support of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers is crucial to our ability to help working families in our community. Our ongoing volunteer needs include: Financial education coaches, mentors and instructors to work with our Financial Empowerment clients (bilingual English-Spanish especially needed); DMV area professionals who can work with our Workforce Development clients to review resumes, offer interview coaching and serve as short-term networking mentors; Supporting organizations to fund grocery store gift card deliveries to our Food Bridge families; Groups to assemble weekend food packs for students at our Fairfax County Public Schools partner schools; and Groups to run food/fund drives to assist families who visit our Emergency Pantry. We also have a number of one-time volunteer opportunities throughout the year to support our events or other needs.
