General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: 1) Board member - 3 year term

    2) Emergency Services Volunteer: Under direction of staff, greet and receive clients for intake appointments, maintain client referrals and files, coordinate appointments with food pantry and thrift store, help provide other services required to prevent homelessness.

    3) Food Pantry Volunteer: Stock shelves, assist clients with shopping, bag and carry groceries for clients, receive donations of food and provide receipts, help clean and tidy pantry, hallways, and front office.

    4) Thrift Store Volunteer: Receive donations and provide receipts, sort clothing and household items for resale, hang clothing and re-stock racks in the store, keep store appearance neat and aisles clear, assist customers, serve as back-up cashier as needed.
