General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Volunteers may work directly with our students in long-term relationships as instructors or teaching assistants for computer skills, keyboarding, and job readiness classes; or in short-term assignments as computer lab tutors, admissions counselors, success story writers, or practice interviewers. Computer-savvy folks may also work behind the scenes as refurbishment lab technicians or troubleshooters. Occasionally we need SUV or minivan drivers to help with equipment pickups or small groups to help set up for events.
  • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams
  • Hours Needed: business hours during the week; evenings during the week; daytime on the weekend
