General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: OAR offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including the following: facilitating courses inside the Arlington County Detention Facility, assisting with administrative work in OAR's office, staffing the Emergency Services department, supporting special events and fundraising efforts, and more. The opportunities available vary, so the best way to learn about OAR's work and how to get involved is to attend an OAR tour. Tours are offered at the OAR office twice per month and last just one hour. At the tour, you will get to meet some of OAR's team, see the office, and learn about OAR's mission and programs. You can find the dates for the tours and register online by visiting: https://www.oaronline.org/news-events/oar-tours-upcoming-events
